Auto Detailing Services FAQ

Specific questions about each Glow Auto Detail service — from a quick Basic Clean to a full Ceramic Coating — answered in one place.

Full Glow Detail

Service page →
What's included in a Full Glow Detail? +
Our most complete service, combining full exterior detailing (hand wash, engine bay cleaning, brake dust removal, wheel and tire dressing, shine and protection) with full interior detailing (vacuum, dashboard and panel cleaning, wipe-down, window cleaning, and shine protection).
How long does a Full Glow Detail take? +
Most Full Glow Detail appointments take 3–5 hours depending on vehicle size and current condition.
Who is this service best for? +
It's ideal for a seasonal deep clean, before selling a vehicle, or any time your car needs a full top-to-bottom refresh rather than a single area of focus.
🛡️

Ceramic Coating

Service page →
How long does ceramic coating last? +
With proper application and care, a professional ceramic coating typically lasts between 2 to 5+ years, depending on the product used and how the vehicle is maintained.
Does ceramic coating replace the need for paint correction? +
No — coating seals in whatever condition your paint is in. We include paint correction as part of prep so imperfections aren't sealed under the coating.
Is ceramic coating worth it for my vehicle? +
It adds long-term protection against UV damage, road salt, and minor scratches while keeping your paint's shine — a strong option for vehicles exposed to New England winters.
🎨

Paint Correction

Service page →
What is paint correction? +
Paint correction is a polishing process that removes swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and water spots from your vehicle's clear coat, restoring gloss and clarity before any coating or wax is applied.
Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating? +
We recommend it. Since ceramic coating locks in whatever the paint looks like underneath, correcting swirls and imperfections beforehand gives you the best long-term finish.
Can paint correction remove deep scratches? +
Paint correction works well on surface-level imperfections. Deep scratches that go through the clear coat may require touch-up paint or bodywork in addition to correction.
🚗

Interior Detailing

Service page →
What's included in interior detailing? +
Full interior vacuum of seats, carpets, and trunk; surface cleaning of the dashboard, panels, and console; interior wipe-down and conditioning; window cleaning; and interior shine protection for long-lasting freshness.
Can you remove stains and odors? +
Our interior process addresses everyday dirt, dust, and buildup. Set-in stains or strong odors may require an additional deep-cleaning add-on, which we can discuss during booking.
💧

Exterior Detail

Service page →
What's included in an exterior detail? +
Professional hand wash, engine bay cleaning, brake dust removal, wheel and tire dressing, and exterior shine and protection.
Is exterior detail the same as a car wash? +
No. A car wash cleans the surface, while our exterior detail includes decontamination, wheel and engine bay care, and protective finishing that a standard wash doesn't cover.
🪟

Window Tinting

Service page →
What are the benefits of window tinting? +
Window tinting reduces heat and glare, blocks harmful UV rays, protects your interior from fading, and adds privacy.
Is window tinting legal in Massachusetts? +
Massachusetts has specific legal limits on window tint darkness. We'll discuss compliant options for your vehicle during booking.
⚙️

Engine Cleaning

Service page →
Is it safe to clean my engine bay? +
Yes, when done correctly. Our technicians use safe techniques and products that protect sensitive electrical components while removing built-up grime and oil residue.
How often should I get my engine cleaned? +
Most vehicles benefit from an engine bay cleaning once or twice a year, or before a sale or major inspection.
🚐

Fleet Wash

Service page →
Do you offer discounts for multi-vehicle fleets? +
Yes. Fleet pricing is based on vehicle count and scheduling — contact us with your fleet size for a customized quote.
Can you service our fleet on a recurring schedule? +
Yes. Many of our fleet clients book weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly service to keep company vehicles consistently presentable.
🏍️

Motorcycle Full Detail

Service page →
Do you use the same products on motorcycles as cars? +
No. Motorcycle detailing uses products and techniques suited to painted tanks, chrome, and exposed engine components, which differ from automotive surfaces.
Can motorcycles be ceramic coated? +
Yes, ceramic coating is available for motorcycle tanks and painted body panels as an add-on to a full detail.
🚙

RV Wash

Service page →
Can you handle the size of an RV? +
Yes. Our mobile setup is equipped to handle large vehicles including RVs, with pricing adjusted for size and time required.
Do you clean the roof and awnings too? +
Yes, roof and exterior panel cleaning can be included — let us know the specifics of your RV when booking so we can plan accordingly.
🧽

Full Detail

Service page →
How is "Full Detail" different from "Full Glow Detail"? +
